Some people refer to the Old Testament "Book of Joshua" as a gospel. However the gospel given here is related to the New Testament because it provides a biography of Jesus Christ.
According to my King James Version of the Bible, the dictionary at the end states that “Jesus” is the Greek form of “Joshua”. In addition, I note that the other four gospels are written by Saints, but that appellation is not given to Joshua. As I am not a theologian or a Biblical scholar I do not know if these are significant.
