A Family Tale

By W. H. Keith

1883, 71 pages, ill

In 1883 William Keith wrote a 269-page manuscript containing a history of the origins of watchmaking in America. It was written in response to claims by Aaron Dennison that he was the "father" of American watchmaking, a claim that Keith vigorously disputes. The manuscript was never published.
