This booklet is a detailed study of watch mainspring gauges. The main aim is to describe these gauges and show that they are sensibly based on Metric, French imperial or English imperial measurements.

The gauges described are made by Montandon, Martin, Robert, Lepine, Ferret, Prenot and Dennison.
