This short report is a translation of "Rapport présente au haut conseil fédéral sur l'industrie de l'horlogerie, Exposition de Philadelphie 1876". It gives an overview of the horology displays at the Philadelphia Exhibition. More importantly, Favre-Perret discusses the impact of the new American watch industry on Switzerland. Although not as important as the reports by Jacques David, it contains some interesting points.
